SRK Steel supplies Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Coils (GI Coils) and Galvanized Steel Sheets manufactured in accordance with leading ASTM, JIS and EN specifications. Material can be supplied with agreed mechanical, dimensional and zinc-coating requirements for industrial, construction and fabrication applications.
For Qatar projects, GI coil should be requested with exact grade, thickness, width, coating and end-use information. If the coil will be profiled into roofing or wall sheets, include the intended profile or fabrication route plus the project delivery location and document requirement.
Qatar project teams may use GI coil as feedstock for roofing, cladding and fabricated sheet products. Stating the downstream use helps procurement teams avoid comparing coils that differ in coating, forming suitability or documentation.
If a consultant specification names a coating designation, grade or standard, carry that wording into the RFQ. Zinc coating should not be inferred from the term “galvanized” alone when a controlled coating mass is required.
For coil intended for profiling or fabrication, include width, base-metal thickness and any coil-weight limitation imposed by processing equipment. These details can be as important as the total quantity.
Qatar delivery enquiries should identify the receiving city or project zone and any document package expected with the material. Equivalent material should only be considered where the project permits substitution.

State grade, base-metal thickness, width, zinc coating, quantity, end use, required material documents and delivery location. For profiling work, add the intended profile or processing requirement and any coil-weight restriction.
GI coil thickness and zinc coating describe different parts of the requirement. A quotation with the correct thickness but a different coating may not match the project specification, so both should be stated and compared separately.
